Microsoft introduced a new cloud-based reset feature that should help users when Windows crashes. If there's no recovery drive or USB drive to reset the operating system, you can do it remotely.

The option re-installs the same version of Windows previously running, but it will still require removing all your apps and personal files.

You can find this option under Settings/Update and Security/Recovery.
