CODEX usually waits for some substantial updates to avoid make 30 little incremental patches for games that need this much patching. Just FYI, the 1.12 GOG version that was on here before this newest one(NOT Multi1 required no install. Thats the one I'm using now, just download and play(or copy to your games drive and play). However, since its not actually installing it, there will not be any registry entries, therefore you won't be able to use any updates that require a Windows recognized install of the game. I'm sure CODEX will do another release once 2.0 comes out. |

I like GOG, but as far as installing games go, I'll choose anything but GOG. For some reason, installing a game, especially one this size through GOG can take over 24 hours on my PC, when things like COD at over 100GBs will take maybe a half hour if installed through something like CODEX. Makes no sense to me. If there is one available, please upload a non-GOG version of this..? Thank you! |
