I was using this times ago, until it ruins much more than it repairs.
I had to reinstall some software that Adwcleaner "cleaned" |

tried it , very slow scanning then restart hung, then said found nothing , then opened firefox browser and had changed numerous setting for addons (ghostery, traffic light bit defender) which caused more issues, had to restore to earlier date to get everything working again should not have tried this program. |

It was about time! AdwCleaner is the only application that has worked for me when cleaning adaware infections in my friends' computers. I totally recommend it. |
