No problems here on installing or in operation - did a good job - best I've found. It DOES add 2 scheduled tasks though
Driver Booster SkipUAC IObit C rogram FilesDriver BoosterDriverBooster.exe /skipuac
Task Driver Booster Update IObit Crogram FilesDriver BoosterAutoUpdate.exe /auto
- but easily removed with CCleaner (Tools>Start up>Scheduled Tasks) as there is no need for them to be running all the time |

If you want to have a smooth running computer, only update the drivers from the computer manufactures support site where your system is registered. |

I always recommend unchecky. It unchecks extra programs in installers and warns you when you get one of those where clicking "OK" will install extra stuff. |

did this version install numerous other programs like the previous version did ? version 2.1.0.161 installed at least four programs that I did not want, thanks. |

The updated version is fast, easy and a trustworthy & secure tool. I didn't have any out dated drivers so that's good to know. I once read a while back that updating drivers was not a good idea. That it can lead to an unstable machine. The article also mentioned that "if it's not broken then why fix it" and I would ask the same; why should we fix it??? I welcome feedback concerning this issue..... Thanks |
