a-squared Free is a handy utility developed to offer protection against malware. The software interface is very simple and easy to handle and implement. The software scans and cleans the corrupted files. If the computer is infected, it is just needed to plug the key and run the executable or using the application command line. It can then perform a scan of the PC, put the suspects quarantined items before deleting them or keep them.
Note: As of July 2010, a-squared Free is no longer developed. Its feature-identical successor is Emsisoft Anti-Malware.
